BC Equipment & Assistive Devices Program
BC Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction
Provides wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds, bath seats, and other mobility equipment for eligible BC residents receiving provincial assistance. Items are provided on loan at no charge.
Canadian Red Cross — Health Equipment Loan Program (HELP)
Canadian Red Cross
Short-term loans of wheelchairs, walkers, bath benches, and crutches for people recovering from illness or injury.
BC Rebate for Accessible Home Adaptations (BC RAHA)
BC Housing
Rebates up to $20,000 for home modifications that help seniors and people with disabilities live independently. Covers ramps, grab bars, bathroom modifications, and widened doorways. Replaced the former HAFI program in 2021.
MSP-Covered Physiotherapy

MSP covers physiotherapy for eligible conditions when provided in hospital outpatient clinics, community health centres, or through Home & Community Care.
