About
Provides a wide range of programs encompassing prevention, early intervention and collaborative care services, assessment, treatment, acute inpatient hospitalization, crisis stabilization, rehabilitation and emergency care to people of all ages who have a mental health and/or substance use issue. Anyone of any age can call 604-204-1111 to connect with our teams that support children, youth, adults and older adults in Richmond. The Richmond Mental Health Consumer and Friends' Society (RCFC) supports a strong and connected mental health peer community by providing Peer Support, Therapeutic Recreation, and opportunities for growth and development to Richmond based mental health consumers. Funded by Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), the SMART Grant, and the City of Richmond. Participants must be 19 years of age or older and a referral from a mental health professional is required for most programs and services.

Chimo provides assistance to individuals and families of all cultural backgrounds in areas such as crisis intervention, counselling, settlement, housing, legal advocacy and taxes. Also provides community education to secondary school students through a variety of workshops and youth programs. All services are free and confidential.

Pathways Clubhouse, accredited by Clubhouse International, offers hope, encouragement and opportunities to who live with mental illness. The Clubhouse helps members recover from mental illness and reclaim their lives through a supportive environment that focuses on the person’s strengths and talents, rather than illness. Creates opportunities for members to return to school, gain employment, have a place to live, connect with their families, make new friends, and create multiple successes. Provides mental health public education to increase awareness and understanding of issues and concerns about mental illness and mental health.
